About

Why a waiter game?

The 191st Munich Oktoberfest runs from 19 September to 4 October 2026, and this is its final week. Millions of people are in a beer tent right now, planning to go, or at one of the hundreds of Oktoberfests around the world. The Wiesn's real heroes are the servers who carry a dozen full steins through the crowd without spilling, so we built a game about them.

How to play

  • Move: tap or click where you want to go. The waiter finds a way around the tables. Arrow keys or WASD also work.
  • Pour: stand still at the Schänke and steins are added one by one. You decide when to leave.
  • Grip: up to 4 steins is easy. With each stein beyond that your grip drains faster, and at zero you drop the lot.
  • Food: Brezn and Hendl go on a tray. You can't carry steins and a tray at the same time.
  • Tips: fast service pays more, happy tables in a row build a combo (up to ×2.0), and anything you finish during an Ein Prosit earns double.
  • Hearts: three Lebkuchenherzen. Each table that walks out costs one.
  • Record Attempt: choose a load, hold Walk and keep the stack level for 40 m. Spill more than 10% and you're disqualified, just like the real record rules.

Good to know

  • Your progress, stars and best scores are saved only in this browser (localStorage). Nothing is sent anywhere, and there are no trackers.
  • Share buttons create a link that shows your friends exactly what you scored.
  • The game respects your device's reduced-motion setting and has light and dark themes.
  • The game is about serving. If you're going to a real Oktoberfest, drink water, pace yourself and get home safely. Non-alcoholic beer is having a moment: sales more than doubled at the 2025 Wiesn.
  • The guests, thieves and shift scenarios in the game are playful inventions. The facts on the intro cards are real.
