Why today?
5 October is Global James Bond Day — the anniversary of Dr. No, which premiered in UK cinemas on 5 October 1962. On the same day, The Beatles released their first single. Sixty-four years on, the franchise has produced 25 official films and grossed around $7.8 billion at the box office.
